With the app, ByteFM's program can be conveniently listened to anywhere. The app also provides detailed information on broadcasts, schedule, and presenters. Songs and shows can be locally bookmarked as favorites. Favorites can be shared via social media. Of course, the application runs in the background as well. At home, music can also be played on the stereo system (via AirPlay, Chromecast, or Connector). Members of ByteFM's circle of friends have access to the archive and can listen to individual broadcasts offline while on the go.

ByteFM is an internet music radio station. It offers a moderated program with journalistic ambition and a hand-picked selection of music. The program includes both new and old records, interviews, background information, and musically "everything that is good": indie rock, electronic, house, dubstep, reggae - carefully chosen and competently presented by around 100 moderators; all without annoying commercial breaks.
